I realized a day or two ago that I hadn't posted a new journal here for quite some time. I suspect that this is mainly due to laziness.

But, now I have some new art up, so I figured I might as well put up a new journal. Working on a lot of stuff right now, including a 3D comic which has taken much much longer than I thought it would when I started out. Also working on:

Character series/artbook prep for

General coloring stuff for

And modding (sp?) a computer case for the heck of it. Interestingly, it's also taking a lot longer than I'd hoped it would when I started...

Anyway, that's the news for now.

I've been in kindof a slow spot when it comes to my digital art. Thought I have been working on my comic somewhat. I'm designing an apartment for a character from the demon world. You wouldn't believe how much stuff is in even the smallest apartment...outlets, cabinets..windows! Oh well. I know the creative streak for my Vue stuff will return, but until then I'll mostly be working on my colored pencil stuff.

In the meantime check out this web comic by an artist friend of mine. It's good stuff. It's full of swords, sorcery and office work! Seriously funny.

Coloring:

In theory, I'll be doing more art soon. As summer winds down and the rain comes back, I'll be feeling more like being indoors. Hopefully this winter will see a lot more coloring stuff finished. Maybe I'll even finish re-finishing my drafting table. It's only been 4 & 1/2 months so far...sigh.

So, I've gotten my computer room fixed up again after some upgrades, so I can start working on the comic again. I have some of the pg.2 renders done already. I'll probably also re-submit pg.1 after some suggestions from my younger brother who reads more comics than I do.

Also some new exciting stuff coming up on the traditional side. Working on stuff for:

We're finally unpacked (for the most part) and I've started doing art again.
